Removing Curses
Removing Curses
Does anyone know a simple and effective curse removal spell (if not spell do still point it out please) that either yourself or anyone close to you has used in the past? Any repercussions involved in using it?
I suppose chanting spells would be my definition of simplicity.

First off, remember that two things are required for a curse to work.
1. Will of the user.
2. Belief from the reciever.
If you can convince yourself that the curse does not work or has no effect on you, it looses over half the power it has to draw on.
If, however you still feel it's effects on you. Try the following. I have had fairly succesful results. (Granted the curse I was removing was powerful AND one that I placed upon myself.)
Place a black candle in a caldron. Make sure that
A. The candle is secured to the bottom of the caldorn. Melt a little wax in the bottom to fasten it.
B. The candle does not rise above the top rim of the caldron. It should be a few inches below it.
Now fill the caldron with water until it is just a hair below the edge of the candle's top.
Set down before it and take several deep, cleansing breaths and focus your thoughts and your emotions.
When you are ready, light the candle and concintrate on the flame. As the flame glows, imagine the curse getting stronger. (Yes you actually want to feed the curse and make it stronger. Trust me.) Continue to focus on the flame and amplifying the curses power.
When the flame lowers the candle below the waters edge, the water will gutter out the candle and the curse as well.
Remove the candle and bury it somewhere, pouring the water out in an entirely different location.
NEVER dig up or use the candle again!
Best wishes.

The greatest advice I was ever given: It matters not what you believe. Only that you believe it wholeheartedly.
i like this one it's pretty simple and could even be considered a little silly lol.
get something citrus-y, i suppose a lemon would be best.
cut it half way down the middle(from top to middle) and give it a little squeeze so juice and scent come out, even if the juice falls on your hand make sure it comes into contact with bare skin, now visualise yourself covered in black smoke and let the lemon juices corrosive yet purifying properties eat away the shadow surrounding you. then after your done finish cutting the lemon in half put one half at your front door and squeeze a little juice into the entrace. then take the other half to the back door and do the same thing.
a strong cleanser, can be used not only for curses and also an alternative to sage if your not a fan lol

the lemon is truly a powerful symbol of cleansing. Word of advice though, make sure you think of the lemon purifying the shadow as if it is happening. Often times beginners will make the mistake of imagining it rather than invisioning it. Invisioning and Imagining are two completely different thing, makes sure you are invisioning it

CLEANSING BATH SPELL
Ingredients: bay leaves, 1 lemon, flour, 3 handfuls of sea salt
This recipe is used to unhex or unvex yourself. It does not matter whether the negative energy is coming from an internal or an external source. It can also be used to remove any sort of obstacle from your path. Simply add NINE bay leaves, the juice of a whole lemon, three fistfuls of sea salt and a sprinkling of flour to a full tub. Three and nine are numbers of completion. You want to make sure the cleansing is thorough.
Bay is ruled by the sun and is used for protection, and purification. In ancient Greece, the priestesses of the Delphi oracle would chew bay leaves to open their psychic channels. As you sit in the tub, meditate on the source of your problems. In Rome, bay was used to ward off evil and is still burned or scattered in modern exorcism rites. During the Middle Ages, bay was used to protect against witchcraft. You can carry three leaves in your pocket if you feel someone is actively working magic against you. Flour is used for purification and stabilization. The combination of lemon and salt is used to drive away evil. You must sit in the tub for at least ten minutes and immerse yourself completely three times.
Do not towel off but allow yourself to air-dry

I don't believe that curses have any more effect on you than you allow them to, so i simply refuse to allow any such thing to have an effect on me.
by the way...where does your icon come from? it looks familiar...
"I don't believe that curses have any more effect on you than you allow them to, so i simply refuse to allow any such thing to have an effect on me."
even though that is a decent defence against curses it's not a guarantee. i relate that too the fact that if i were to hit you in the face with a brick you could take away all injury by "simply refuse to allow any such thing to have an effect on me."
