Beltane

Postby Adularia » Sun Apr 22, 2007 8:58 am

Does anyone have any plans for Beltane? I am solitary so i won't be doing anything with a Coven. I have been making some nice incense and I thought I would make a few flower chains to put around the house! :)

I'm a solitary, too. I think Beltane is the only time I somewhat regret that I'm not part of a coven. I have my rituals anyway, though. I'm hoping my sweet woodruff will bloom so I can make a May cup. It's been dry in these parts and we've been under a burning ban, but it's raining hard out there tonight, so I think I might be able to build a bonfire after all.

Well Happy Samhain, Sobek :)

I can't believe I don't have plans for Beltane... I'm going to have to remedy that! I know too many people that would be all over something if it was actually organized, but other than an open ritual there aren't any festivities that I'm aware of.

My grove is forgoing Beltane this year and celebrating the Greek festival of Thargelia, which is a festival of purification in honor of the birth of Artemis and Apollo.
