Just an Opinion about "The Secret"......

What do most people who see "the secret" take away from it that they will try to apply to there lives? (keep in mind most people that see this are not awake or have a very basic understanding of consciousness)

Answer :

Personal Gain, Material Wealth, The object of their love

After long meditation and thought on this topic i though i would share my opinion, feel free to not agree... or do....

"The Secret" is no secret at all, but what is presented in the movie leaves much out, and not by accident either. There is much that needs to be applied to other than just the law of attraction. This was another marketed for $ movie in my opinion. Personal gain is not what true knowledge and wisdom of the universe is about, if you think it is, then so be it.... There have been 100s of movies like this and will be 100s more claiming to offer the secrets of life and riches for a profit.

I say to Phrophet for a Profit and to not be completely truthful is not in harmony with all that is. There is much at stake with the Awakening of Consciousness and There are many out there who seek to not allow it to happen, or to interfere as much as possible. This movie has millions of people talking yes, it can be a good thing, BUT it also has millions of people basing there knowledge of this strictly on this movie and they will go forward clinging to it and this will prevent and lead them down a different path that will only distract from what can be a truly enlightening experience.

Hi Mike, I always find your posts informative and intriguing but I haven't seen this film and I'm afraid I 'm totally ignorant about this. I am now interested however and will have to see what you are talking about. Is it somehow linked to the Celestine Prophecy and that school of thought? Sorry for my lack of knowledge but I miss out on new films etc. because I 'm such a hermit.lol. I 'm going to go see if I can 'google' something, find out about it. Is it 'a hot subject'?

Back now, I found this, have a look peeps, see what you think - I think,Mike, like you, making money from this is wrong and that these secrets are not so secret etc. It dosen't take parting with sums of cash for 'life coaching' to know this stuff either, I 'm still reading through, but I'm highly sceptical already.
