Hello again, im bored so im posting yet another poem i wrote a fair while ago...enjoy

The Valour, The Eyes and The Betrayal

There exists a man, whose simply gorgeous
Pure of heart and pure of mind
A soul to match his looks
Fighting till the end that we wouldn't allow
The Valour and the power never ceasing
It was now i realised how much i care
He pisses me off, he's needy
He's pushier than anyone should be
With a new level of respect reached
I learn i love him more!

The Eyes that watched, howled my name
And when i answer the call
I see the struggle
The Eyes that watched, they dont leave his side
Even though they have something higher to protect
They never leave his side
The Eyes that watched, shake and moan
The others call her a coward
But i know her better than any other
For The Eyes that watch, dont watch for no reason.

Then of all things to happen
That which i abhor above all others
I have awoken she, who cared most
She, who pretended to care most
She didn't look
She didnt see
She didnt comfort
This was the first time, i'd truly been disappointed in someone
The disgust etched on my face
The way i looked upon her with disdain, i looked upon The Betrayal.

just for the fun of it i'll say the first two stanza's are about my dogs...my brother and sister, who are very human in my eyes.

I don't critique poetry,but I do like to read everyones poems,I think expression of the voice of the heart is very important -that's how I see it. Those are gorgeous dogs,very wolflike,what is the breed?

That's no co-incidence my dear woman. they are Alaskan Malamutes.

Malamutes *are* very wolf-like and very human like in the complexity and independence of mind. One of my best friends is planning on breeding them. They are a kind of dog I might actually get a long with on a long term basis... since most dogs are too needy for my taste. The thing is, I could not own a dog like that without serious land... more land than I currently live on. I have a big house... but no yard. So maybe later. OTOH, I am more of a cat person anyway... and dogs are a lot of work. I'm lazy.

that is so true, the girl has the most amazing personality ive ever come across...a little like my own which is one of the reasons we get along so well. but at times she can be a total snob, like if you piss her off she'll look at you, nose is the air, turn tail and off she goes, and then it can be a matter of weeks untill she's ready to speak to you again. i love her so much.
