i have been interested in the craft for a long time and i have,nt done any spells with fear that i will stuff it up ,i have a lot of books with spells and i have got a lot from the net .the reason i have,t done any is because i dont have any personal time meaning i have people around me all the time and with same spells there is a time facter and the kids and mark would make fun of me and that would piss me off big time .another thing is the wording of same spells there hard to say .if you say it wrong then the spell would,t work ? i know that you have to know what you wont and believe .but can saying or mucking the word up stuff the spell .and with same of the items you need there very hard to find i have got the book thats asks for bats blood and snake skins and things lot that even going to the health shop when you ask for same things they ask why and i feel that it would be placed all around town on what i would be doing .i dont feel ashamed with the craft i love it and the things it stands for but same people are just so weird that in small towns i dont need the shit . bigeyed-confused

Firstly, hello and welcome. Sobek will be pleased, another Aussie on the board.lol. Chants and wording don't need to be fancy,we are not all great wordsmiths -your will and intenton is more important.You can substitute many of the 'exotic' items for easier to get things -that is ok. It takes time to get used to a lot of things -don't worry.I 've never had any call for bats blood myself, thankfully -I like the local bats -their aerobatics are entertaining. Herbs and plants that grow around you are best anyway. The library is good for sources , a garden herbal book will help,there are also lots of sites online that have good info.for witchcraft and medicinal uses.I know what you mean about time and kids -I live in a very busy,chaotic family home.Find a little time for yourself, just for study and practice -for me that is usually late at night, but you have do it where and when you can .lol. I 'll see what I have on herbs and plants later,that may be useful.

i have a book for garden herds and would like to grow my own but i have the black finger . but spring is her so i hope the it will turn green this year
