Dejavu

Postby [WitchMomma] » Sun Feb 10, 2008 8:53 pm

Well I wasn't sure where to post this so here it is....

I have read different things about what Dejavu means and one theory was that everytime you have that "Dejavu" experiance it is telling you that you are following the correct path in your life. That you have chosen what you are here on earth to learn and you are remebering that???

I don't know - I get really weird and LONG Dejavu. It will last over a minute at a time and I can realize it is happening while it is happening. I kinda get lightheaded and get a real "whoa" factor happening.

It won't happen often for a while and then for periods it will happen everyday or everyother day for weeks.

I was wondering if anyone else has these experiances or has any knowledge about what it means?????

I have had some psyhic experiances but few and far between. I wonder if it has somehting to do with that and if there is something I can do to tune into it more??

Thanks for any input.

I've had them all my life, but beyond that there's little I can tell you, apart from the fact that contrary to what seems to be the common doctrine then you can actually alter what happens.

From what I can tell, then yes, they do seem a lot like remembering your own life. My theory is that time is not linear, but simultaneous, so you're simply tapping into that, from a fairly narrow point of view (yourself). I'm not sure they have anything to do with being on the right path, but being active does seem to increase how often I get them.

I don't know if there's a specific way to tune into them more, but the best way I know to increase any psychic experiences is to meditate religiously at least two times a day, and for at least 30 minutes each time.

Cheers,

A

Thank you for your thoughts. It is a hard and strange subject with not a lot of information. Thanks for the input.

Actually, there is something you can play with a bit - a form of controlled Deja Vu that can give interesting results.

Basically, pick days or events that you have emotional investment in, but where you don't have such a strong desire for a particular outcome that you risk clouding your judgement. Basically, what you need to do is to focus on it in a passive way - you're not trying to change anything (yet), just figure out how it will go. If you are successful, you can sort of 'ease' into it ... it's hard to describe. I'm not that visual, so I will usually sense more than I see, and the results can quite easily be "written off" as messages from your subconscious. My experience however, is that this at the very least will give you a strong intuition, and can be very useful to weed out potential problems before they ever get into play.

Cheers,

A

there is also a less well known phenomena known as jame vu- in which familiar places or things seem for a moment like something you have never seen before. I've had both. Don't really know what the significance is, just thought it an interesting bit of trivia.
