Long time ago I was at a festival where they had a guided group meditation like that to discover your totem animal. Back then there was a Wiccan Shamanism tradition teaching it. For me it turned out to be more of a journeying experience. It involved stirring water deosil in a cauldron while another person narrated the guided meditation part. This was all done in a large outdoor group circle. Everyone participating had to sit or lay down to relax. Your body became motionless...I thought of moving, but my body didn't move any. I could feel myself drift away.

All you really need is just to relax and meditate in your circle. I would offer a prayer first for spirit guides.

I know a Celtic meditation but there's a meditation you need to know and be able to do first.
:?

I can give you both if you like.

I started with Celtic lessons and Celtic meditation for spirit guides worked for me quite well. I must say...here is a success story for what you're trying to do.
