I dreamed that i was in a plane and we were descending on a prairie somewhere midwest i think. When we landed we were immediately accosted and taken hostage. One by one people were murdered in horrible ways. I found myself in going into some kind of temple and i find myself in a room and a woman is being carved. This dark skinned man takes a blade and starts carving on the womans face but she doesnt scream or cry out, all she does is stare vacantly, eyes wide like she's trapped inside and can't do anything. He starts to peel her face off scraping with the razor and i cringe. I find myself on the outside looking in on this dream and now i am just a spectator as this other man confronts the butcher as i have come to call him. He tells him that he has become a monster and what he is doing is barbaric and cruel. The butcher tells him to shut up and stabs him in the stomach with some kind of weapon and as the man crouches over in pain i can feel his anguish and despair as he continues to confront his attacker.
"Have you no shame you know you are wrong and what you are doing is wrong" The dream changes and i am with my husband and he's telling me how property in Kansas is really cheap and that real estate agents are desperate to get people to buy. I don't remember much else.

Dang! Creepy dream!!! You weren't by any chance just watching some Eli Roth film; (Hostel & sequel, etc.), were you? I'm not sure I can interpret that one really, only in fragments... I'll give it my best shot, though. :28:

Airplane

Hostage

...Well, I think this dream is borderline nightmare with some hints of reality interspersed. I see concerns with yourself and parts of you that you don't like and want to have "killed" (or just go away, but our dreams are over-dramatic), and I see a desire to be free; a free spirit without hurt or stresses, but also a fear of making the changes to get to where you want to be. I also see an awareness that something is holding you back. I think overall this dream was a very creepy way of dreaming about your desire to have a better future, move up and excel rather than being stagnant and shrinking down into yourself and misery.

Not a bad dream, actually! It is so true that the creepiest dreams are often the most mundane in interpretation... it's the ones where you've just finished going grocery shopping and now you're cleaning out the refrigerator or something else seemingly harmless, that you have to watch out for.
