I hate when this happens...

Postby One Walker » Tue Feb 24, 2009 2:12 am

Fortunately it doesn't happen to me very much it seems. Dreaming, that is, or at least remembering my dreams. I had a short but strong one tonight though. It just woke me up out of a sound sleep. 12:32 AM I woke up. What was the dream? It was very short and pretty much in the form of a newsflash. Ex-President Bill Clinton was executed in the woods in Indiana tonight. Did I see the execution? No. The information was just 'flashed' to me. Pure mental transmission. The only picture I got was of Bill Clinton standing in a small clearing in some woods at night with at least 2 sets of car lights on him. I never liked Bill (or Hilary) but I sure hope this didn't/doesn't happen to him.

Well, this shot my sleep for at least the next couple of hours.

Hm, interesting dream One Walker. When one dreams of killing/the death of someone, it's usually about themselves, not the person being killed, really. Take a look at what Clinton represents to you and the aspects of him that you really don't like but can also identify with, within yourself. What you're probably dreaming about is your desire to destroy and eliminate the aspects within yourself that you also see present in him.

Even if not though, and this is more a dream of prophetic vision, there's really not much you can do with the info. If you tried to contact some form of government with your concern, you'd most likely end up being the one arrested, and it wouldn't have done any good for Clinton anyhow.

Hopefully, you're just dreaming about the sleazy nature you men feel at times, and Clinton is kind of the dream-embodiment of that particular brand of "sleaze". LOL

I had some disturbingly odd dream the other night too- was stuck in someone else's house and my dog was outside, needing my help... but I was in the stuck in the house, wearing only a short t-shirt. (I still went outside to help her though, naked or not, I wasn't going to let that stop me... and she had transformed into a large, black Afghan hound and was throwing up in some bushes after having eaten a dead, poisoned mouse.) Yup, I'm insane. Figure that one out! LOL, Dreams... soooo weird.

ROFLMAO, MoonStone! If you're right I guess the dream was telling me I need to get laid! Well, it has been quite a while. Unfortunately, being unemployed doesn't get you in the good graces of the opposite sex, even if they're Self-Employed Public Fund Raisers.

On the other hand, the symbology could be that both of us were once at the top of our respective fields but are now all-but useless and standing in the unemployment line. :D

I'd still bet my future prospects are better-or at least more positive-than his.

LOL One Walker, you crack me up!! :28:

It seems you already know what your dream means... so that's at least a positive thing. And I'm sure your prospects are much better than his... after being prez you can only step down in the pecking order and overall, really... at least you've still got a climbable corporate ladder open! (I have some mental image of him in jeans and Birkenstocks, sitting in a grassy field at some college campus with a doobie in one hand and a Democratic-harem of cooing girls at his feet.) LOL!! Yes... your prospects for a brighter future are much much brighter. LOL

So far as bagging yourself a lady, I understand your troubles. That's why marriage is so great... we can catch our woman/man, respectively, then we're free to let it all go. For Sicker or Poorer or Fatter and Lazier, right? (I'm kidding!) :28:

Thanks, MoonStone. I was hoping to get a chuckle out of you on that one. The trouble is, I got it backwards: I got sick, poor, fat, and lazy before I got married! LOL. (Typical Male, I know.)

As for climbing the corporate ladder: Been There, Done That, Don't Want To Do It Again. So I guess I'm in what is known as The Mid-Life Change. My absolute ideal at this point would be a nice little self-supporting hobby farm (I kind of grew up on one) where I can pursue Spiritual Enlightenment, Holistic practices, and good old-fashioned hard labor. Grow all my own crops, herbs, spices, etc., build things, maybe make it a haven for those seeking relief or to learn or just to be what they want to be.

Ah well... I guess some dreams are best left in your sleep.

Blessings to All!

eek! Now I'm kinda glad we gay folks can't marry! lol Although, it would be nice. Even when we're with someone who is intended to be long term, there is NOOOO letting go (the gay world is highly demanding)....and people think women have alot of pressure lol
