evauating earth dream
evauating earth dream
ok so i had a dream that me my mother father and sister were participating in a evacuation of earth. My brother was completely absent and no one noticed instead my uncle whom I rarely see took his place. When time came to leave My mother and Uncle missed the take off sequence and so did my uncle(my mothers brother) I ran back at the last second for a stuffed animal I used to sleep with. And then ventured off frightened to the moon with my father and sister I don't get along with either of them. Any idea what it means?

(First some definitions:)
Evacuation
-To dream of an evacuation, suggests that you are isolating yourself and holding back your emotions.
-To dream that you are in a town that has been evacuated, indicates that you are feeling rejected by those around you. You are feeling unaccepted.
Parents
-To see your parents in your dream, symbolizes both power, shelter, and love. You may be expressing your concerns and worries about your own parents. Alternatively, it represents the merging of the female and male aspects of your character.
Father
-To see your father in your dream, symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant. Consider also your waking relationship with your father and how aspects of his character may be incorporated within yourself.
-To dream that you are hitting your father, represents a desperate need for greater closeness with your father. You feel that he is not listening to you. In particular, if you are hitting your father with a rubber object, indicates that whatever you are doing or telling him has no significant effect on him. Things just literally bounces off him.
Mother
-To see your mother in your dream, represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development.
Sibling

Sister

It may also serve to remind you that someone in your waking life has characteristics similar to your sister.
Uncle

Moon
-To see the moon in your your dream, represents some hidden, mysterious aspect of yourself. It is often associated with the feminine mystique and intuition. Alternatively, the moon signifies your changing moods.
-To see the eclipse of the moon in your dream, signifies that your feminine side is being overshadowed.
-To see the crescent moon in your dream, indicates cyclic changes, renewal, and movement. You are progressing smoothly toward your life path. A full moon signifies completion, while a new moon symbolizes new beginnings.
(Interpretation:)
I think your dream is telling you of your feelings: you're feeling unattached, distant; guarded. You also venture back to your childhood self (by running off to fetch the toy), but even with the toy in hand, you are still stuck being an older person, and are left to deal with just those same things in life you'd really rather leave behind, but can't. I'd surmise that you're somewhere between 13 and 25-ish, am I right? This feeling of internal conflict between the child self and adult self is something everyone encounters... but in this dream, there is more going on than just that.
Take a closer look at your uncle- the traits he embodies in your opinion, broad spectrum-- the trick to correcting these feelings of unhappiness you're having within yourself is there. I'm not sure if the further significant point lies within the fact that your dream-mother was absent or if it's that your dream-father was present. Read over those definitions above and I think you can gather your own opinion on that.
Hope that helps!
