I wasn't sure where to post it, so I decided to put it here, since it's a question.

Three weeks ago I went to this little coffee and tea store that I saw in our city-center. I never noticed it before, so I decided to take a look. The store-owner was a really nice man and we chatted about all sorts of things, which is quite odd, because normally I don't speak with stranger or people in general. It makes me feel scared, insecure and uncomfortable. Anywho, with this man it was different, it was like we had known each other for ages.

Two weeks ago I returned to the store for some more tea, when the store-owner suddenly said: "Do you have a sixth sense?" It was so sudden that I felt a little scared so I heavily shook my head. He said he felt this connection and that I shouldn't lie, so I admitted I was an empath and that I did some more stuff. We talked for almost an hour after that, about what he does with his powers and what I liked to do the best. He also told me I had the 'biggest' and most noticable energy he had ever sensed. It really felt like he cared so much about me and was so worried. He gave me lots of shielding and relaxing advice.

A week ago I returned ago and we chatted some more and he gave me some advice again. It was nice, but somehow I felt awkward afterwards. Like something in my energy changed, but I couldn't figure out what. That evening I felt bad, even though the next day I felt twice as good.

Today I wanted to visit him, but when I was close to the shop I somehow got worried and panicy and something inside told me not to go. It's very confusing: it's like one half of me yells "this man wants to be your guide! he teaches you stuff! he loves you like one of his own kids! You know it, hon, you can feeeel it!" and the other half yells: "this is odd. Maybe this has some sort of second meaning! You never met anyone like him and you never will! Avoid him!"

It's confusing me. So much.
Could there possibly some odd relationship between us from a past life or something? I believe in reincarnation, but do not think I ever met someone I knew from a past life (next to my dad). With this man, somehow, it feels like I have a bad history as well as a good history with him.
What should I do? :(

I think that you should give it a chance.

It would be a really rare thing to find someone like that, especially one who shares the same talents and interests as you.

Have you ever read the book "Tree spirited woman"? It sounds very similar to your situation.

This woman goes walking in woods near her house during a very traumatic time in her life and meets an old woman that she feels really drawn to.

Anyways they keep meeting and the woman teaches her so much, that she decided to write the book. You should look into it. :)

Just trust your instincts the entire time. :)

If the path or thoughts he describes sounds right and feels right to you on an instinctive level I would continue to pursue it. It could be that you got 'warned off' him that day because he was in a bad mood or otherwise was experiencing something negative. I'd say give him another chance. Maybe he can tell you or give you a reason why you felt that way that day?

Thank you for replying. I think I will go and visit him this Friday, since he's always in the city on Tuesdays and Fridays. (:

I just got back from the tea-and-coffee store the man works. Inside there was a stressed out customer, but he immediatly left when I entered. I just got inside when I got this warm greeting, but somehow he seemed worried about something. Before I could ask, some other man entered the store, also scared and stressed out. The tea-man asked me politely to leave. I did -because the strange, troubled men made me feel uncomfortable.

:/

I am sort of worried, because last night I dreamt someone loved my shoes and she told me. When I looked it up, my book said: "When a young woman dreams that her shoes are being desired/loved while she's wearing them, she's being warned for people she recently met or will meet that act like they've known her for years."

I'm too afraid to trust my intuition, since I'm so tired and stressed lately and I'm afraid my intuition is too worried and messed up by that for now to 'work' properly. Of course my head makes me choose hard ways.

Bwoah. :(

Just take things slowly. Going into a coffee shop is safe enough and if you ever feel uncomfortable once you're there it's easy enough to leave!

I don't think there's anything warning you about going back there but there may be something in your instincts warning you to go slow and keep yourself safe. :D

I agree with Vicki. It almost seems the tea-man wanted you out of there to get you out of harm's way or otherwise away from conflict or potential trouble.

That dream you had was also kind of weird. It reminds me of that line from The Natural where Robert Redford says to Darrin McGavin "You're standing awfully close, Gus. I can't tell whether those are your toes I'm feeling or mine!"

Just relax and take things slowly like Vicki said. Meditate and do some Centering exercises. You're tired and stressed and you need to let go of that. The world won't end and there's no problem so big that you can't run away from it.

Peace and Blessings to you!
