I have tornado dreams on a regular basis. Some are very vivid and realistic and some are sort of odd and surreal. In a lot of them, I am trying to rescue someone else from the path of one.
This could be due to the fact I grew up in a place where they were very common and there were quite a few close calls in my childhood. But I still have the dreams after moving to denver.
My dad also has a lot of tornado dreams and has a recurring image of trying to save two twin girls on a farm.
What do these dreams mean?
Tornado dreams
When I personally have a tornado dream, I know that it is a symbol of stress for me. Now that I know that, when I see one in a dream, I just acknowledge it and move on. Then, I need to relieve some stress in my waking life.
I would recommend keeping a dream journal to try and find the trigger in your waking life for these dreams. For example, write down what you did that day before you go to bed and then in the morning write down your dreams.
