Hi there
can anyone figure this one out. Its for a friend and shes starting to get worried as she is having it over and over again every night
thanks for any insight

Last night i was on a brand new(had a sign in the window saying it was the first of it's kind and welcome to the bus of the future' :| ) weird shaped double decker bus with a slide and a pool on top of the roof of the bus.The bus had lots of packets of wetwipes you could help yourself to :? .I missed my stop twice as i couldn't find the right button, buttons were all over the place.Had to go to the bus's end of journey then wait for it to go back.I missed my stop again, banging on glass/shouting and screaming, sobbing at the thought i may never make it home.I was wearing my long velvet coat, had been sliding down into the pool on the blue slide fully dressed (there didn't seem anything wrong with this as my clothes felt dry when i got out of the pool).

i asked the following questions to see how she felt in the dream and underneath is the reply

1. when you saw the bus how did you feel?
2 when you missed your stop the first time were you cool?
3 did you enjoy playing in the pool/slide?

1.I thought the bus was too angular/nothing newy special.Designed badly.
2.No i wasn't cool,i was annoyed because i couldn't find the right button.People i asked on the bus didn't seem to hear me and looked indifferent.(I know what that could mean in RL,lol)
3.I wasn't that happy about the slide and pool.I remember thinking it was unsafe even though i had a go.

sorry about spelling and gramma. I copy paste from messages between us
any help would be cool
thank you for having a look tho.

Hi,

Let me have a try. Sorry if it's not fully correct. I write this from my own experiences and some book-knowledge.

Cars are usually the way you behave in society. If you ride a small car of your own, it just means you. If that car crashes, it could mean you'll have some difficult times coming up etc. Riding in a public car, on the other hand, could mean the way society behaves around you and how you react on it. A bus drives circles and circles forever, unless you get out at the point you want to be. I'd guess she feels stuck in some circle like school or work or other emotional thing. Finding the right button is finding a solution to break the circle, but she can't. Is she afraid to find the button? Or can't she find the button because no-one helps her? She may think the people around her do not care about her situation, even though she screams for help.

Usually water symbolises emotions in your dream. Swimming in a pool or lake, tells you that there's lots of emotions you have to deal with. Maybe you even feel overloaded by all the emotions around you -maybe they're even drowning you. Since she came out the water without being wet, I guess it will be alright. There's some difficulties she needs to solve calmly to make it out all good.

I hope this could help her understand the dream a little more.
Love.

(First some definitions:)

Bus
-To dream that you are riding a bus, implies that you are going along with the crowd. You are lacking originality and are taking no control over where your life is taking.
-To dream that you are waiting for a bus, indicates a temporary setback in achieving your personal goals. If you miss the bus or get on the wrong bus, then it indicates that an aspect of your life is out of control. You need to slow down and map out a new plan.
-To dream that you are at the bus station, suggests that you have reached some new level or stage in your emotional or physical life.

Buttons
-To see a button in your dream, indicates wealth and security. Alternatively, the dream may also be a metaphor for being too "buttoned up" or refrained. You need to let loose and be yourself.

Pool
-To see a pool of water in your dream, indicates that you need to understand and deal with your emotions. You need to dive right in. Alternatively, a pool may indicate your need for cleansing. You need to wash away the past.

Slide
-To dream that you or somebody is on a slide, indicates that you are experiencing some instability in your waking life. You may have lost your grip on a situation or relationship.
-To dream that you are sliding, represents a loss of control.

Blue
-Blue represents truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness. Perhaps you are expressing a desire to get away. The presence of this color in your dream, may symbolize your spiritual guide and your optimism of the future. You have clarity of mind.
-Depending on the context of your dream, the color blue may also be a metaphor of "being blue" and feeling sad.

Velvet
-To dream that you are wearing velvet, signifies distinction and honor. It also represents you sensuality and emotions.

Coat
-To see or wear a coat in your dream, symbolizes your protectiveness and defensive persona. You may be isolating yourself. Consider also the color, appearance, and type of coat for additional significance.
-To dream that a coat is old, worn, or shabby, then it suggests that you are feeling down on yourself.

(Interpretation:)
I think your friend is dreaming about a need to cleanse herself of some part of her emotional self that she no longer wants to have. (Further evidenced besides the water, with the endless supply of wet-wipes on her bus... sometimes dreams are very literal.) First, she's riding the bus, just going along- then she's off of the bus and missing it repeatedly because of confusing buttons, etc. This illustrates her desire to make the changes to become the person she wants to be, but that she doesn't know how.

I also think that even though she wants to make these positive changes, she's reluctant to do what needs to be done. I believe she will know exactly what characteristic she's been feeling that she needs to change, but is at a loss when it comes to how to move toward making the revisions. I'd suggest telling her that she needs to evaluate her emotions first, deal with that aspect and get it out of the way... then she will most likely have another dream that can guide her toward effecting the changes and cleansing within herself that she so desperately wants and needs.

Hope that helps!
