I've actually I've never worked with any. My favorite Goddesses: Gaia, Bast.

Favorite Gods: Odin. Also Anubis and Set are both Egyptian Gods that I find completely fascinating. Especially Set.

I have always felt the most connected to Heru-sa-Aset (Horus, son of Isis). Ever since I was much younger.

Nut, and Kauket as well.

I consider myself a Christian witch... but then, again, I'm a bit deviant and tend to view gods and goddesses as facets....

Okay, ignoring my rationalising, I love Athena. I feel major connections with her - war, wisdom, and crafts. (PS Wisdom was at one point worshipped with the Hebrew God, so I feel I can get away with that.)

As for gods... well, I generally stick to the traditional Christian Yeshua. If I had to choose a name other than that to call Him, it would be Arawn - the Lord of the Dead.

Luckily Arawn and Athena seem to get on together fairly well... I think it might be the war bit...
Come, heart, where hill is heaped upon hill:
For there the mystical brotherhood
Of sun and moon and hollow and wood
And river and stream work out their will.

I have always found myself being pulled in the directon of the Eygptian, I am still new and learning, but I have always had a facination about Bast and Horas.

When in doubt I work with THE Goddess lol but I think Bast and Artemis are cool. Then for male deities there's Thor and Posiedon. It's a really weird mix, I know lol.

Primarily Goibniu, the blacksmith of the tuatha de danaan. You might have heard of him in his Welsh form, Govannon.

Wow, I see my old post almost a year later and I have a completely different favorite. Just goes to show ya how things change. Lately I have been drawn the most to Kali. Now compared to my last post, I never saw it coming lol.

Well for God(s), I recently placed a name to my masculine deity facet, Pan. He is the God of the wild and the animals. Of forest and feild. That's where I grew up. 200 + acres of rich Ky. farmlands and woods for miles. It is only fitting.

As for my Goddess aspects, I go with Skuld, Vervandi, and Urdu. Mostly because it allows me to have an alter at work and no one notices. (It's a background on my workstation comp of the three resting atop the world with instruments) as they are also char. in a cartoon. Vervandi and Urdu are quite responsive but I do get Skuld every once in a while when I am feeling particularly youthfull.

My favourite gods are generally completely different to the gods I work with - which is one of the downsides to being chosen by deities, as opposed to picking and choosing per convenience.

As for 'favourites', or deities that I really respond to, I've always liked:

- Inari, Japanese fox and rice deity
- Sekmet Het-Hert, Egyptian lioness and dark-side-of-the-sun deity
- Artemis
- Baba Yaga

But I work with and have been claimed by

- Lesavny, forest deity
- Vavale, swamp crone, custodian of lore.
- L'yuvotn'r, rain
- D'miezak'r, moon god
- Karajana, sun goddess

I used to be quite fond of Sarasvati when I was younger, but I as I have aged and changed, I've found myself more drawn to the Greek pantheon. More specifically, I've been drawn to Apollo and Dionysus.

I adore them, they don't seem to mind me...it works.

I feel that Isis chose me. (Do not ask me why I might sound insane :D )
