Since blue is generally associated with the element of water, and moonstone is associated with Goddess energy, I expect that blue moonstone would be especially powerful for things that deal with emotions (i.e. spells to help with depression, anxiety, temperment, etc.) On the other hand, pink moonstone would be especially powerful for love spells or things pertaining to love or motherly aspects. maybe i can cleanse these with water and salt
then charge when fullmoon comes.

tonight is fullmoon.
i put my moonstone on a bowl with water and salt then i put it under the moonlight.
