PS:
The other side of the debate in America is called "pro-life", because they do not believe that it should be legal for any woman to get an abortion. Some pro-life people believe that a woman should be able to receive an abortion only if she is raped, others believe no woman should have access to abortion.

I am just explaining this because I am not sure if the abortion debate (if there is one) is the same in other parts of the world.

I completely agree with Starwitch. That has always been my view on abortion. This world already has too many people in it, why have one more that will be moved from foster to foster (at least here in America). In my opinion, thats why Aids and cancer and ebola exist. To control the population of humans. Abortion is entirely a womans decision, the man doesn't carry that child for 9 months. The woman does. And the woman should be able to choose whether or not she wants to.

I agree with traumwandlerin in thanking you Starwitch for explaining your own personal experience on a situation where an abortion was a good thing. The few times I have councelled someone on this issue it always seemed important that they think through both sides of the coin. Therefor it is probably a good thing to have this discussion. You never know when someone truely is going through something like this. So maybe we could thank the spammer for that atleast lol. I also agree with the theory that we are not all suv soccor moms....Some of us are hockey moms....lol just kidding. Would I trade my kids in for anything...not on your life. But then again I always wanted to be a mom and I have a good man in my life. I am in no way niave enough to think that is the case for everyone. I aslo have the upmost respect for single moms. My mom was one. She could have had an abortion. Thankfully for me she didnt but there again my bio dad was not putting her or me in a dangerous situation. And she had a good support system with her family.

being a mom is a special gift to have, unfortantly i have never had that chance yet, i like to wait a few years before i have kids, in a sense i am still a kid that goes trick or treating hahah. newangel
