Ha! you should be blushing  ...I'm jealous, I love the little Ganesh. And everything around it, the grains are beautiful and Bombay orchids are my favorite smiley_dance ...what else is that? marshmallows and?....
We have a mountain near where I circle and we have named it Mt. Ganesh and give it honor before ceremony. The mountain looks just like an elephant squatting down and resting it's head upon it's front legs...I may have a pic, but am not real tech savvy.
Seraphin, you're pretty amazing.

Marshmallows, kumkum-colored rice, dark brown sandalwood powder, corn nuts, monggo beans, pinipig grains, our very own "Almost Holy Biscuits" (leftover hosts) and many, many more... Haha!

The Aromatherapy Insect Repellant Recipe is basically for them; to protect and preserve them -- because there were days that these offerings were curiously dwindling. Yes, yes  ! I have almost come into believing that the mighty Lord Ganesha had been miraculously getting and eating my offerings. Oh Lord!

But to my great disappointment :surprisedwitch: , I jerked out of sleep one night just to find a pair of roaches having dinner on my sacred offering bowl! It's as if my altar had become a romantic Asian restaurant, with candles, gemstones and flowers and all.

Oh, oh and that Mt. Ganesh -- I hope you take pics! Please!
Those are absolutely gorgeous thanks for sharing them !
Awwwww :D *HUGS* Thanks, Lillady! Bless you :)

Yes I made a blend of lemon eucalyptus (as you suggested), cinnamon and lavender. I also placed, garlic cloves, ginger root and some pepper around my offerings and thankfully there has no longer been any dinner-dating roaches on my altar. :-)

I'm going to try to post some pics later, taking my fiancee first out for another driving lesson.

Yeesh...

Oh and about Mt. Ganesh pic, do you have photobucket account?

Wow, this is the first time that I've seen altars that look so alive. Very beautiful, Seraphin. :fairy:

Nemeton

As soon as we arrived home from our vacation, my fiancee and I immediately decorated our Celtic Nemeton.

Image

Our nemeton normally wears the festive colors for the Beltane occasion.

And as you can see, I still use my broken cauldron as a decoration.

Very lovely altars, I especially adore the Samhain altar-so festive! :fairy:
I like the stationary altar quite a bit too. Is that a monkey skull? It's a very well put together altar.
