Artemis was also pretty fond of the lyre herself, and is sometimes shown playing one in art. In the Homeric hymn to Aphrodite the lyre is one of the things Artemis is said to love (as well as hunting, and a few other things), and her love for these things is so strong Aphrodite has no power over her.

Ah. Well have you ever been able to contact Artemis while meditating, or at all? It seems as if I should be able to but I can't

I feel her presence often, but I can only remember a few times where I felt like I had some sort of very direct contact from Artemis, and that has been over several years of practice. The one that stands out most was in a dream, actually. Beyond that I find Artemis to usually be quite subtle, giving somewhat indirect signs, feelings, and so on.
