Probably the same thing a lot of us have had to go through, just because you were Christian. The strength of that fact means to me that the worst troubles would have been internal.

Well, it depends. I personally don't tell anyone that I'm Wiccan unless they ask & even then sometimes I don't. But I told my best friends. You have to do what's right for you & if keeping it to yourself feels right then I'd do that. On the other hand, you shouldn't feel embarrasseed about telling your friends because if they really are your friends then they will support you no matter what. It might cause poblems if you don't. I held off on telling my best friend that I was Wiccan & when she finally did find out she was really upset that I didn't tell her sooner. We're fine now though!
