She is sooooooooooooo cute and adorable. Is she the offspring of the pair you have?Wow, I so want a dog or two or three and some more cats and ....and ...and....and!lol. When I get a house with a garden, I 'll be unstoppable, kids and animals all over the place. Ooh, I forgot, I adore horses too, I have a 'bond' with them, we are both highly strung creatures, lol. I got close to a stallion on a holiday, that no one else other than the owner could. He was a beast indeed - Black, huge and full of attitude. I just stood quietly at the fence and watched him,he got curious and ran at me.I stood, he pranced .I stood. He came right over and nudged me[gently, thankfully]. I put out my hand, palm up.He nuzzled it and we were pals. After that I took him apples and he let me stroke him. Not very exciting - but I felt priveleged. I can ride, just too poor to be able to for a long time. I have other equally boring horse stories.lol. Did any one see the recent news stories on Odin, the white bengal tiger? He's a massive beast and he swims and dives for meat. I knew tigers are good swimmers and fond of water, already, but the pictures I saw, show him 'grinning' underwater too - I think it would be terrifying if you were down there with him. He lives in captivity in the US - hmmmm on that, but Bengals[ all tigers, actually] are rare and it may be the only way we have of protecting them, at the moment. I likeTigers a lot too - Cheetahs and Leopards also,in fact all manner of wild cats and big cats. I like Lynx, Ocelot and Cerval especially. I may be able to track a pic. of Odin, the tiger.I 'll go see.

yeah, she's thier baby. maybe you should try and move to a farm or something, then you can have all the animals you could handle plus some. i like horses, though if i touch them i become rashed.

that tiger is beautiful, the second pic reminds me of the dragon in "The Never Ending Story"

i'm not really into tigers or lions or anything...though ive always loved Panthers.

That's lovely, awwww, again. Odin looks like he's grinnning 'cos he can close his nostrils over and his ears are right back because of that too, I 'm not sure how it works exactly.lol. Imagine swimming somewhere and seeing him - it's a shark, no a tiger shark no it's a bloody tiger! -what? crunch! I 'd love a farm, or a big steading, maybe if I win the lottery. lol again.

Awww. That IS an adorible puppy Sobek. I love malamutes. :-) A good friend of mine has three... er... four. One had a stealth puppy. No one knew she was pregnant, and then.... Puppy! The male and the two females were kept apart, but nature finds a way, don't you know. :-) She's called Do (pronounced "Doh". ;-) > and when they get around to posting the pics they took last weekend maybe I'll post a link to her. She's the snow-white ninja. :-) She was the star of the party, and kept sneaking into the martial arts arena. :-)

i'm wary of spider energy. i don't know why, i'm just naturally cautious about it. i don't like horses, either.
i'm attracted to animals that are strong, independent, and self-sufficient. particularly the cat family. birds, as well.

mm, and that dog is so cute. i love the name, too. :]

SOBEK: That doggie is soooo cute!! What kind of dog is she?

I've always been drawn to cats of all kinds, domestic and wild....I dont know if insects count but I'm deathly afraid of spiders!!!

I have an affinity towards dogs, [I've had GSD's as pets for many years, even as a child they were my favourite.] I find it difficult and upsetting to read about dogs getting hurt or killed. In fact if something like this comes up early enough in a book I happen to be reading, for instance, I'll stop reading it altogether and discard it. I positively don't like spiders, they make my skin crawl just to look at them. I get my husband to capture them and put them out if they get in the house, especially the bath, which I sluice with copious amounts of water before I'll even get in it after a spider's been in there. Although I have other animals here, [cats and lovebirds], and like and have been around various other animals at different stages in my life, I've yet to find one I feel as comfortable with as the dog.

I know this is an old post but I thought id reply to it anyway. When it comes to mythical creatures, I feel very drawn to the phoenix, so much that reading stories bring tears to my eyes. Im a sap. Myths vary depending on region, because the phoenix is present in many cultures. Overall though, it is a beautiful bird. It lives for 500 years (time span varies by story) and when it knows death is approaching, it builds itself a nes out of cinnamon twigs. At death, its bursts into flames. From the ashes of the bird and the nest, and egg is made. The egg hatches and a new phoenix arrises. In some cultures, its said only one phoenix can exist at a time. I guess i just love the symbolism f a phoenix. Ive been through some really hard times in life, but throughit all ive become wise, and still manage to have a very positive outlook on life, which i think is rare. The fact that a poenix can be reborn from tragedy is jsut something that moves me. i also feel very in touch with deer, particularly the doe. They are big and strong, yet move with a kind of grace that you wouldnt expect. They portect one another when necessary, but are usually very peaceful, and even somewhat timid. They warm my heart. There arent really any animals that make me feel uneasy, except the moth. I dont understand it at all, because I love butterflies. But the sight of a moth will make my heart beat and has even broguth me to tears. Perhaps its something in the haed, or my past. Im not sure, but I just cant stand them.

I truly love dogs especially toy breeds. I have a Pomeranian who is my heart. Somet'simes I swear I should have named her Samantha! I can be calling her and she will appear behind me! She's small but she is tough. This weekend she is going to be evaluated to be a therapy dog.

Anyway, I love butterflies and hummingbirds (even though I have this strange fear of birds!).

I am terrified of roaches. They just seem evil and dirty. Mosquitoes too.

A lot of other animals that people feel comfortable with actually scare me. Monkeys, horses, snakes.

I think I was a chihuahua in another life. :D

Its a serious phobia, nothing to laugh about.

But if that made you laugh, this will kill you. Part of the reason why I hate them so much is because as a child, I learned that they could chew through clothing and such. And so the question always lingered in my mind. "if they can chew through clothing, why not human flesh?!!!!"
