How does loving anime make you an emo? *sigh*

Within the emo subculture it seems most of them have taken anime as one of the key things they "do". My highschool was over-run with emo kids, and gave me quite a laugh. I used to dress very gothy, chain pants, black make-up, ya know the whole deal. Then all these kids started doing the same, but more toned down. About 90% of them were obsessed with anime, but usually just the stuff on Cartoon Network.
I've always liked anime, lol. The whole lyrics thing is because emo's tend to constantly use lyrics for screen names or I've known some who write them all over their notebooks and even clothes. I personally love quoting some songs because there are a few whose lyrics are just really good.
Oh and I scored 40% lol.
