Everything Under the Moon

Will there be light in the end?
Will reality break and bend?
Or will the sky open and show
A void from which none will flow

Corpse into floor with worms
As they crawl and as they squirm
Red flow'rs adorned for we're blue
Why contradiction in hue?

The stone under which you lie
Forgotten and bare, but why?
No color to hide what's gray
None remember that you lay

Is there no living in death
Is it defined by your breath?
Tow'rds the heavens your soul takes flight?
or trapped 'lone devoid of light
