Dear Sastual,
I'm sorry for the pain you're going through. I can relate to the situation your girlfriend is going through. Things like that are difficult to recover from. Most women never really get the same sense of innocence and safety that they once had.
The courts are a joke when it comes to rape cases. I mean I guess if you want to file a police report that would probably be the "right" thing to do. But without an excessive amount of evidence, there is very little chance of him being convicted. And your girlfriend will be re-traumatized by the asshole defense lawyers who will make her out to be easy and say that she is a liar and everything else that hurts. When a rapist is prosecuted, it is really the victim who gets put on trial, not the rapist. Plus, she is usually forced to sit right in front of him and tell the story of what happened in front of all those people. As though it wasn't bad enough to live through it, now she has to endure the pain of having everyone else knowing about it AND the fear and humiliation of her ex-bf watching and having the satisfaction of seeing the damage he has done to her.
Court? Not for me. Until they are able to fix the problems that exist in the criminal justice system, there seems little point in prosecuting a rapist. They are almost NEVER convicted. It's his word against her word, and people tend to believe men over women since women are still thought by many to be "hysterical" basket cases who make up stories in order to get revenge. Even one of our forum members thought that could be the case, so you can't expect 12 stupid jury members (just idiots they picked at random who don't know anything about rape, violence, and psychopaths) to believe that a man could be so callous, so uncaring, and so brutal to a woman (a woman whom I'm sure he will claim that he loves.) And when it comes to past criminal records (if he has one) they usually don't allow that information into the case, so the jury is totally clueless as to the things this man may have done in the past.
As for serial killers being let loose, it absolutely CAN happen. Just last night I watched an episode on American Justice called "FREE - To Kill Again". Here is a summary of what happened, copied from Wikipedia:
McDuff was first convicted for raping and murdering three teenagers on August 6, 1966 — Robert Brand, Mark Dunman, and Edna Louis Sullivan — a crime that became popularly known as the Broomstick Murders. His partner, 17-year-old Roy Dale Green, was sentenced to four months house arrest and five years probation. Although McDuff was sentenced to death, the sentence was overturned when the U.S. Supreme Court abolished capital punishment in 1972. His sentence was subsequently commuted to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
As a result of overcrowding in Texas prisons,[1] McDuff was paroled in 1989. After being released, he got a job at a gas station making $4 an hour and took a class, at Texas State Technical College in Waco.[2] One year after he left his job at a gas station and dropped out of TSTC, he began killing again. Upon release McDuff was arrested on a series of parole violations, but he was never locked up for any substantial length of time until he was arrested for the murder of a 22-year-old Texan woman, Melissa Ann Northrup in 1992. He was implicated in at least three other murders, including the abduction and murder of Colleen Reed from an Austin carwash in December 1991. He was considered, but ruled out, as a suspect in the Yogurt Shop Murders case.
As a wanted fugitive, he fled to Kansas City, but was eventually captured due to a tip from a profile on the television show America's Most Wanted. McDuff was eventually sent to death row and executed on November 17, 1998 at Huntsville Unit. According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice death row section McDuff's final words were: "I’m ready to be released. Release me."
So he murdered 3 innocent teenagers, brutally raping the girl and then he sat on top of her (her being face up) and choked her to death by pushing the broomstick down on her throat. This girl was so beautiful and young. Why do people want to destroy something so beautiful?
McDuff did go to prison for that crime and he was sentenced to death, but the Supreme Court overturned the death penalty and commutted all the death sentences to life sentences. That meant McDuff was eligible for parole.
The governor of Texas stuck a deal with the Texas Parole Board...They decided to release 160 prisoners EACH DAY due to overcrowded prisons.
From Unsolved Mysteries.com (click to read entire article):
Texas had created a big problem as a result of overcrowding and began to release offenders in order to make room for new ones. They started out with the small fish until they ran out of small fish- then began to release people such as Kenneth McDuff- who was without a doubt going to be more of a danger to society than anyone realized. In fact people from his hometown, where he returned after being paroled, were terrified. They bought guns, they locked their houses, and lived in fear of this man that they reviled and loathed because of his previous crimes. So in 1989 and fresh out of prison- McDuff got a 4.00 an hour job at a gas station where he worked for only a month before enrolling, then dropping out, at Texas State Technical College. Even though he was on parole for three heinous killings of innocent teenagers and even after committing one violation after another- plus due to the continuing overcrowding of Texas's prisons- he seemed to avoid having to face any consequences for his actions. A known racist- he even beat a black man almost to death. Still no prison time.
Anyway, he murdered woman after woman after woman (after woman) until these a$$hole police officers and the justice system decided to do something about it and hunt him down. So your girlfriend is right that murderers, even serial killers, CAN escape justice. There are plenty of criminals who murder and kidnapp people all the time and are NEVER caught.
Ted Bundy killed LOTS of women before he was caught. Then he broke out of prison (twice maybe?) and killed even MORE women. There are a lot of really bad people in the world and you can't trust the cops to take care of the situation for you.
People get away with rape, abuse, and murder all the time. There aren't enough prisons to hold them all, and we simply don't have the manpower to track them all down and prosecute them anyway.
Here are some spells that could help:
Spell to Make Someone Feel the Hurt They Caused You
Spell to Break the Ties Between You and Your Ex
And definitely see if your girlfriend will allow you to put a
protection spell on her. Some women (like me) seem to attract evil people into their lives. There was a time in my life (after I learned about the Law of Attraction) when I started to understand why rapists were drawn to me. I was putting off a helpless, fearful vibe. I was small-framed and soft-spoken. Rapists look for victims they can easily overpower. They aren't typically looking for a challenge. They want to feel your fear. They enjoy the feeling of power they get when they are terrorizing you. So you have to hold your head high and never show your fear in front of men. (That's hard to do with a man who has already hurt you though.)
Your girlfriend may have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If she is struggling with nightmares, flashbacks, exaggerated startle response, constant fear, etc. there are some therapies that can help. I haven't found regular talk therapy to be that helpful to me because it's too hard for me to open up about things that are personal (which is why only the strongest rape survivors hold up under the scrutiny and demeaning questioning in court), but there are other forms of therapy that seem to be more effective. Click below to learn more about them.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and
Tapping
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
It's apparently possible to retrain your mind to reprocess the traumas and get them out of the right side of your brain, which is where they cause flashbacks and nightmares and other symptoms of PTSD. I used the Tapping website video to reprocess a trauma that was causing me to have an exaggerated startle response when I was touched from behind. It really did decrease the symptoms. I should use the technique more but I haven't. Now, even if I am touched from behind, I might startle a little bit but it doesn't set my heart racing and put me into full fight/flight/freeze response.
It would be good if you could talk about your feelings with someone. Most relationships aren't able to survive rape. The boyfriend usually feels helpless, angry, vengeful, and he is pretty much consumed with his own guilt and feelings of rage. That's totally understandable that a man would feel that way, but it doesn't leave you with much strength for supporting your girlfriend, who is also suffering. If you are able to process your own feelings, you will be much more helpful to her and can support her emotionally the way she needs. Talk about wanting to hurt the guy or kill him (or curse him) is usually not helpful to the victim. If you were to kill him and get put in prison for it, then she would feel even more guilty and horrible because she'd feel responsible for that since she told you about the rape. Many women keep these things secret from their family (especially male family) for just that reason.
If you want to talk, PM me.
You might be tempted to hire a spell caster, but I would recommend against it. I'm not convinced that they are genuine.
Bright Blessings,
