Everything Under the Moon

Not sure why this came to me this week but i've decided never to use either word again because of the intent behind them..so if you wanted to get to the source of creation what word[s] would you choose..like if you wanted help or say protection would you ask for instance 'the infinite cosmos'? your thoughts appreciated..

I am an a somewhat agnostic Voodoo practitioner. I call them/him/her/it "the creator(s)", but that's just me.

I've always preferred the word "The Divine" when trying to describe my beliefs to people, since I feel it can encompass God, Goddess, Great Spirit, Universal Life Force, etc, etc.

Im rather fond of using The Lady and The Horned One.

There's a variety of different ways to describe it. The Divine, The Creative Forces, The Is, The One Above All Others...

One Walker.

Maybe you can say The Powerful One or Almighty. As long as you try to avoid and be conscious with the word you really are trying to avoid.

I prefer the AA term "higher power" (no, I've never had a drinking problem).

The Universe.

For that is what the physical embodiment of God is.

I use: Spiritual Guide or Higher Power

I've come to use the word " The Creators" Dieties" "The Divine" "or my fav, "Gods and Goddesses", to let whoever know I'm pagan.
Notice that, in most, I use plural.
I never use Satan unless I'm speaking about Anton LeVay's followers. And if you have read up on that, you know that they aren't speaking of the one the "holey" book is referring to.

The Great Spirit feels right for me. I don't believe in the Christian Satan. Although I know there is 'evil' out there, I do not name it.

We can always borrow from George Lucas and say "The Force."
