Seriously considering Wicca, but could use some advice

Hello all
Some of this should probably go into an introduce yourself topic, but I figure at least a little back ground information couldn't hurt. If I'm in the wrong area, please tell me and I'll do my best to correct it.
In any case, my name is Sarah. 25 year old trans girl and I've seriously had a bunch of major problems errupt in my life the last few months/years, concluding in a few things I kinda wish I could change. In any case, I've been re-evaluating myself and I've realized I lack a few things in my life, things that I wish I had. One being a faith or a belief. I have studied Wicca during my brief career in College and I found a lot of things that had interested me, but at the time, I thought that I really didn't need any sort of spiritual guidance in my life, seeing as how most of what I had studied, was brought up with and taught never really explained or seemed overly helpful. Some of the traditions were down right cruel.
But lately, I've been thinking about the things I would like. And like I said, one of those things is an increased spiritual side. From the little I have read and learned on my own, the Wiccan belief seems very open and more intune with a lot of things that I already kinda follow in my own life at the moment. I'm mostly asking for help and guidance in learning more about Wicca. To see if maybe this is a road I would like to walk down and learn more about. I guess I'm really just afraid that any information I find on my own won't be "true" or a misguided interpretation. Are there any very good, trusted resources out there for a person genuinely looking at the faith? Who here might I turn to to learn more?
Please, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ^_^

Thankya for the warm welcome. I've been browsing the forums for the last couple of days and it really does seem as if this is a very friendly site.
I went a head and did an "introduction" topic, even though I'm usually fairly against them as a rule
In any case, here's hoping for good things ^_^

Oi, yeah. I'm transgender. Meaning for me, I went male to female. That was a big step in my life, but like I said, I've felt lately that something was missing. So right now I'm looking into faiths and traditions that have always interested me, seeing if maybe I can't find that something I feel I'm missing.
And thanks again for the warm welcomes ^_^

Hi there, I’ve been practicing Wicca for a good many years now and one of the first questions that comes up is the one about where to start. My suggestion is always to start by doing some reading and studying to make certain that you understand what Wicca is really all about, and so that you can then decide whether this is truly the path that you want to follow. So with that in mind I thought I would offer some books and websites that are full of sound I information which can help you get started on your path.
To start with, here are some books that I would suggest.
"A Witch Alone" by Marian Green
"The Elements of Ritual" by Deborah Lipp
"Witchcrafting" by Phyllis Curott
"21st Century Wicca" by Jennifer Hunter
"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman
"When, Why...If" by Robin Wood
"Practical Pagan" by Dana Eilers
"Wicca; A Year and a Day" by Timothy Roderick
You can also find the recommended reading list that my coven uses at:

Here's some websites that you may find useful in helping you with questions.

Hope this helps you get a good start on your studies. And feel free to ask me, or the others here on the board if you have any specific questions we can help you with.

Lark,
Thank you so much. Those sites and books were exactly what I was looking for. Those along with some other books that were recommended in another topic seem to be a great starting point.
Now if I can only find a few of those books at my local library >.> Though I did find a copy of A Wiccan Bible at my local book store.
