Spell done while singing
Spell done while singing
Hi everyone!
I just had to share after posting a little about this experience.
I was in a pretty kick-ass guys choir in college when I first started practicing and was just starting to work with shielding and energy flow. One of my friends had gone to our most recent concert and mentioned how much power we gave off, that when we started singing, it almost physically drove them back into their seats! They mentioned there was a lot that was just floating around and could be harnessed without vamping to use for other purposes.
So, I got the bright idea of learning how to focus better, and making a cool shield, too, so during one of the more meaningful songs, I started drawing in power and casting a spell to protect me from physical harm and keep me from getting sick.
Okay, so the results? Yeah, went and played football a few days later, and should have had about 3 concussions from that game, then ended up having several other situations where I should have gotten hurt and didn't. And never got sick from anything the whole year!
So, if you're curious as to how I did this, well, I used a song I connected most with, a song about David losing his son Absolon (oooh, forgive my spelling, it was Latin) and how he'd rather descend into hell in his place than to ever lose him. Somehow, I always knew my dad would have been in the same mindset, and was able to draw something fierce from the song because of that. If you want to know more about it, please PM me. Thanks!
Blessed Be!
Rick

Somehow methinks you don't take me seriously! Actually, it was cool, I went back and found it again. It's a bedtime blessing. I could see myself singing that to my children when they're sick... except I don't have any yet, but someday...
Yeah, I don't think that singing can be real useful for a quick right now type of spell, but for a ritual or long term thing, like healing someone who's got a nasty illness or got into a car wreck or something (or recovering from childbirth, just so I have Thasme's attention) well, that could be pretty useful...

aw, cmon, i take you seriously! the singing thing is pretty cool, i SAID it was intresting, and thats what i meant. usually the first three words of what i say or type and the last three words is what i'm saying. so heres what i said: hmmm thats intresting be really cool. translation: thats intresting, cool. end of post. now all of you can figure me out (if you took the time to read this). dam.

I agree that music is a very powerful energy and you can harness that energy for your own uses. When I watch my Stevie Nicks videos (live concerts), I can actually feel her energy as it rises. I'm sure most of us have felt powerful energy through music, and I think it's a great idea to use it in magic and healing. There are people that are making use of the healing power of music already. You can buy stuff like that - it's being marketed out in the world.
thas true.. I was reading about it in a Linda Goodman book.(.lol. I have like everything she ever wrote).. as I understand every body has a certin sound that they are in tune with. there was more to it but I'll have to go look it up. seems my mind isn't recalling all the info right now. but I know it was cool.
I'll get back to this in a few...........................................Rena

KNOW it NOW and you have WON...
Thats really cool. I am in a really good choir too! Our school has won the state championships for the past 4 years! It is up to us this year to make sure we make it into the first year. But I have kin-of realized the same thing. I just never took time to think about it. I guess I could try that. Thankz!
I'm in a cathedral choir and there is many a time when I feel connected to the music in such a beautiful way. Being in a cathloic choir leaves me with alot of older classical music and with newer arrangements, all which are great to just concentrate on somthing other that what's going on arround me.
