Premonitory dreams...

Anything ever happen to you that instantly recalled a dream you had years ago, but which was forgotten until it occurred? Maybe it even seemed you laughed when waking from it, thinking "Wow, how pointless. What a waste of dream time!" This kind of thing's been happening to me with more frequency lately and it would be downright spooky if many of them weren't so good. Some are even (dare I say) "normal."

One of the most recent was of staring into the second-floor window of a building. The view was as if a camera panning up to it from the ground. Inside, I saw myself hanging out in the kitchen with one of my friends, chopping up some goodies for dinner. I remember every detail of the scene: a tree outside (bulk not near window enough for climbing and seeing inside), the rustic yellow and brown of the outer wall's paint, the narrow kitchen, two other windows in the next wall, and a doorway to the left. About three and a half years later, I moved into this place. One night this friend came by to watch some movies and while we talked in the kitchen and chopped some veggies for steak fajitas, I looked out the window and realized where I was. Felt like something should be coming full circle, but no idea what it was or should be. Odd thing about the moment was also realizing that there's no way of seeing in that window unless you have a ladder. Why, in the dream, such a glimpse ahead of time from that particular angle? And why such a seemingly insignificant moment in my life?

Just wondering why the increasing consistency with these, and if any of you have similar experiences...
