What the title says. Can elements be mixed to make new ones? Like for example, how would you create a spell to summon lightening in a storm? ::darkmood:: How about light? Darkness? Ice?

how about light, fire, and something else

When calling lightning I call on zeus or thor but lightning is generally called upon as fire.
When I burn oil in my stone burner I feel like I'm combining all elements, oil is liquid like water, when you heat it, it starts smoking which is air, you heat it with fire and its being burned in a stone burner. All the elements combined

When calling on light/darkness I call on Ether the element which encompasses light and dark.
