Everything Under the Moon

Hey Everyone,

Last night I was dreaming and this was more like a nightmare I cannot remmeber the dream in its entirety or its exact order but here are the bits and pieces I can recall. Anyone got any ideas as to what this might represent.

I was away from family and I was with some man I do not know but resembled *dont laugh* brad pitt It felt to me that we were in the wilderness and i remember a feeling of being alone and "pretending" to really be happy with just this guy around.

I remember there was something that happened and I split him in half with my bare hands and steped inside him.

The dream goes hazy for a little bit and then I remember something about my sister and being in her house but its not the house that I know.

Then I am looking down from above and I see these brick buildings and myself with 3 other people 2 of which i really do know but I was acting as if I knew the third one. I remember watching all of us moving around the outside olf this building and then all of a sudden I wasnt watching from above any more I am back in my body. I remember the three people left me and went into a building after walking through a small garden with those manicured hedges in it and then coming out with boas around their necks made of flowers while I went in an office where I was told to not disturb the man he was working. I observed a man of Indian Descent *not native american* working on a computer so I left the office

From then I was back in my sisters house but my sister wasnt there and it still wasnt the house that I know in real life. The house was filled with people and I believe they were on drugs and I remember their eyes were very dark looking I hesitate to say evil but part of me wants to. I remember blood and ripping people in half from their heads and not stepping into them this time.

All of a sudden I'm working at a restaurant or something and 3 of us employees have to clean a bathroom because someone important was coming. I remember a women went into clean it while 2 of us did nothing and then I went in to look at what she did and there were branches with leaves still on them arranged in a line on a long shelf and then 3 small shelves above it. I messed up the branches and the girl that did it freaked out I left the bathroom. There was a guy who was either of indian descent or hispanic and he was upset and wanting to quit his job because he felt overworked. I went and talked to the manager and he said wow he shouldnt quit i was going to make him the manager and said he'd give the guy some time off. I went and told the upset guy and then he was ok.

NOW I'm all of a sudden with my sister and her boyfriend and we were in some big fancy building and i leave them to go outside and down these fancy stairs to a back patio that was HUGE to smoke a cigarette. I walk to a table where there are 3 packs of cigarettes on it. I took one from a pack and started smoking and as I was smoking a pack of cigarettes from which i didnt take one started smoking and burning from the inside out. People came running and then I woke up


Thats all I remember I know there was more to this dream then this but this is all i can recall to put in some sort of logical order.

What do you think this means?

Okay lots of things going on here, symbolism like mad so I'm going to stick to the basics. In your dreams every role is played by you, a different part of your personality perhaps but they are all parts of you.

The beginning of being together and alone with someone of 'perfection' might be because subconciously you are looking for happiness in things like beauty and solitude and your subconcious is showing you that those are only shallow forms of happiness, it could also mean that you are trying to break away from the feeling that beauty equals happiness.

The ripping in half symbolises seperation again, if that means seperating yourself from them or them from thier 'problem' I can't say. Come to think of it, all the people in your dream have problems. That beauty, the drugs or evil as you say.
Ugh dreams are so complicated, they are easily effected by outside factors from stress to what you ate before bed, they are such a rough draft of what your subconcious is trying to tell you that it is not something I would suggest going by.

The pretending things is also a returning factor, perhaps you feel as if you are playing a part in your own life, perhaps you feel as if you can't be yourself and are constantly trying to please people and are losing the people that really matter (like your sister) because of it.

The Brad Pitt segment to me symbolized the realization that physical beauty is insignificant. You were pretending to be happy with the perfect physical specimen. The dream altered when you overcame that barrier and "went to the inside"... rejecting the outward and physical for the internal self.

Can I ask how you felt when you ripped the heads off the druggies? That would be significant. I believe that would reveal your attitude towards evil or dark influences. If you felt rage and power, perhaps you are inwardly concerned by your zealous hatred for evil, or drugs, or darkness.

The references to foreigners seem to represent someone who is an outsider.

Also, what is your experience with cigarettes? Do they conjure up the relaxation of a nice smoke? The frustration of trying to quit but failing? A guilty pleasure? The pain of a parent or friend dying of lung cancer? etc

Your emotions throughout the dream would be very significant

I think i was absent of feeling when i was ripping the people in half and when it was the druggies it was more for my survival i think. I do smoke cigarettes I have for 20 years and my grandmother died of lung cancer. Did you notice the repitition of the number three throughout the dream?
