I don't want to give too much background info initially. I will later if you ask, but first I want to see if people's interpretations will match mine while still unbiased.

I recently had an experience while reading a hymn to aphrodite- the feeling of an electrical charge running through me. I interpreted this (with the help of some members of this site, for which I am very grateful) as the Goddess wishing to tel me something. That is why I meditated on Her and called her while falling asleep.

I had a dream about three boys standing in a circle. These are all boys with significance in my life, but in different roles. One I didn't "see" or "recognize"... just knew it was him. He was directly across from me and facing me. The other was standing at a 45 degree angle to my left. He looked just as he always does and gave me a friendly smile as I walked over to my place in the circle. The third walked into the circle past me, bumping me across the shoulder as he went, but didn't acknowlege me. He took his place and refused to look at me. he was dressed strangely. He's a bit of a metalhead and always in black clothes and leather jacket. In this dream he was dressed in light colors. A white tee-shirt, light khaki or light denim pants. Very uncharacteristic of him.

Any thoughts?

Hmm...sounds like 1 or two are promising but number 3 is not wanting to be part of your life. 1. the vaguely familiar boy could be someone from a your life but not closely associated with you. Or it could he someone that will be coming into your life at some point. Number 2 seems like you know him and seems like a possible interest. 3. seems like he might have been someone you were looking for, but he won't be open to that role. If Aphrodite showed you this dream, I think she has offered insight into, not only your current situation with two boys, but a possible future with a third.

edit: Now that you explained a bit in chat. Number 1's vague appearance, despite your relationship, could mean you are losing interest in him and even beginning to distance yourself from him. Jumping to Number 3. He could be wearing the colors of his nature. Though he wears black and gives off that vibe, his real nature or feelings are reflecting through these colors to you.

The first is my steady, loving boyfriend of 1 1/2 years.
The second is my male best friend since highschool, who recently expressed feelings for me.
The third boy is a past lover.

White could mean 1. purity 2.raw energy 3. cleansing 4. positivity

Well, there are a lot of ways you could interpret the meaning of white in the dream. From the sounds of it you mean the white t-shirt your past lover was wearing right?

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. In the dream I really noticed it and it's very out of character. White shirt, white hat, white pants.
Also, the positions in the circle, if anyone can find any relevence I'd welcome the insight

Well, I would say that maybe it could be a reference to his love. That his love is (or was) pure and true.

Honestly? I have no idea. I'm not sure what directions (like right, left, in front) mean.

To me it sounds like you boyfriend; who was opposite and now by your side; is the main object of your attention. Your ex you know in your heart doesn't want you; even if you felt like he did. Then your best friend; as he's expressed feelings for you, you feel confused, even conflicted. Hence the symbolism of a triangle as well
