The ex room mate's crazy mother called CPS with lie after lie about how Michael and I are caring for his son.
Here's the list:
1) He's starved so he's eating his own poop from his dirty diapers
2) We are physically abusing him
3) We neglect him and let him cry for hours on end
4) we never let him out of his play pen
5) the house is a mess constantly
CPS Found the following:
1) the baby is well fed
2) no signs of physical abuse
3) the baby is perfectly happy
4) the baby is going through a natural "separation anxiety" phase that all babies go through at this age
5) the baby is never in the play pen for more than 2-3 hours a day tops (not all at the same time)
6) the house is a mess, due to the room mates moving out and we were finally able to start unpacking our stuff (michael has lived here for almost a full year and has yet to unpack because there was no room...the room mates took it all up)
Because the house is a mess we have to have it cleaned this monday at 5pm when michael gets home from work, and completely baby proofed.
It was while we were out of the house that the room mate came by demanding the $100 my boyfriend agreed to pay her for the pet deposit since she moved out with her dog. At first our impression was that the ex room mate had called CPS, she told us to "get our facts straight" and told us it was her mother who called.
Michael then got a call from the room mate's mother wanting to know why we weren't pay the money her daughter is owed...and that he owes here thousands more for cleaning up after him and babysitting the baby (how she paid rent...not that she ever cleaned...walking in the master bedroom her old room for 10 seconds turned the bottom of our feet black thats how dirty her room was, she never lifted a finger the year she lived here to clean, nor did her boyfriend.) the mother also started demanding to know where the baby was at.
Until all of this happened the plan for sunday was that michael and I were going to clean house and then in the afternoon leave the baby with the ex room mate's mother while we went to dinner to celebrate my rape case finally being handled...or we were going to my parents to return their carpet cleaner we were going to borrow today (instead of driving home today to get the last of my things including storage boxes for all of the stuff we have yet to unpack my parents brought the carpet cleaner to us and helped us clean the apartment...from 7am to 3pm my parents live an hour away from here.)
anyhow we have figured it out, the ex room mate's mother was pushing and pushing and pushing to see the baby on sunday, her and her church friends were going to pick him up from our place....she was planning on kidnapping the baby! my boyfriend's child, our family!
with the CPS call and the phone calls from last night, she's harassing us and the next time she calls we are going to get a cease and assist, if she, the ex room mate, or the ex room mate's boyfriend show up here or come near us at all we are calling the cops for trespassing or more harassment.
