Re: conjure bags?
Old topic
A conjure bag, mojo bag, charm-spell bag or spell packet are pretty much alike, and similar to jars and bottles in that all of the variations are “containers” to hold a selection of ingredients to effect a condition. Ingredients properties should be matched to the intention. The contents can be gathered, prayed over & assembled all at one time or collected over a relevant moon phase and then assembled on the appropriate day of the week - however long you want to concentrate on the goal.
For example
. Drawstring bags, paper coffee filters, or a hankie can serve
. Herbs with properties supporting the goal, tree bark, flowers, roots etc.
. Stones likewise with supportive properties, dirt from a relevant location
. Magnetic stones and iron filings
. Sigil or petition papers depicting the goal
. Incense ashes from your altar to connect to your place of power
. Small jewelry making charms that represent the goal
. Tarot card image, coin, dice or a playing card for gambling luck
. Salt does what you tell it to do
. Oil (1-2 drops) to hold the psychic charge when you magnetize
the completed project
. Blue bead on the draw string to protect from the evil eye
. Drawn or embroidered sigil of the goal on the outside of the bag-container
Mojo/conjure bags are treated as living things and “fed” once a week with a reapplication of 2-3 drops of intent-oil and if magnetic stones were included in the contents they’re fed a pinch of iron filings added to the contents of the bag.
