I'd like to use incense in a spell but it doesn't state what incense to use - is there an 'all purpose' incense?

I'm not quite sure about the all purpose! But, I would say, choose your favorite! (That's what I would do) Or, Rose.. Oh! Vanilla is always a nice subtle one that usually works with quite any spell

I am not sure what the incense is for? If you want it to boost the spell you may want specifics. If you just want it to boost your circle I would use white sage or frankincense to keep negative/evil out. You could also burn something for the goddess or god you honor.

Nag Champa is all purpose and popular so it’s easy to find. It’s also available as an oil if someone wanted to make an aerosol mist to replace annoying smoke and maintain the Air element symbolism, or use the diluted oil as you would any EO.

Cinnamon is another multipurpose incense & oil. Always dilute EOs (essential oils).

The copal resins.

Generally, whatever you feel would need to be in a scent for a specific purpose can go into.
