Odd Dreaming

Yo. I have been having trouble recalling my dreams lately. (That's not the problem at the moment, but I think it's related) I have had insomnia for the last 3 days or so. I seem to have daydreams every once in a while that give me a feeling of deja vu. I just want to know. does this have anything to do with my lack of dream recollection? Or is this me remembering the dreams in another way?

Ebonmare...
I believe some of the reason we dream is for our mind to deal with the stress in our lives.
When I go to sleep after a particularly stressful day I tend to dream comedy situations:
in one my dog, my cat and a frog in the back of my van going for a ride along with a
washing machine...go figure ! I've yet to find meaning outside of just entertainment
for the brain...
Due to your lack of sleep I would guess that would be your brain going thru the motions
and the daydream is there to help the mind "relax" ???
