I'm Seeking Help From A Goddess

Postby asthesunlovesthemoon » Mon Sep 09, 2013 5:17 pm

I'm basically about to cast my very first circle, and ask a Goddess to please help me. Wish me loads of luck, many thanks!

Blessed be

Good luck! Do you have a particular Goddess in mind or asking one to come to your aid & make herself known? You don't have to answer, I'm just curious. :fairy:

Yes, I actually went to the Egyptian Goddess Seshat for help. My problem was me being very stressed by my grades, particularly being stressed in maths, and she is the Goddess of knowledge and also mathematics! :)

At first, I was a bit scared, because it was my first time praying to a Goddess and casting a circle and everything, but it went great! I stuttered quite a bit, but I don't think she minded. I felt her presence, and I felt understanding and kindness and love. It was wonderful, I'm so glad I did it!

She answered my prayer as well, when I went to do my homework afterward, the thing I was struggling with sort of clicked in my mind, and I had an understanding of it.

I thanked her before I closed the circle, should I thank her again? Is there like a certain way to do that?

Blessed be.

http://www.pantheon.org/articles/s/seshat.html

Here is a bit of information that I found on Seshat. Though the article is brief, maybe it can give you an idea for future rituals and interactions with this Goddess.

Brightest Blessings,
Echo

Thank you, all!

I'm going to thank her today, should I give her some kind of offering?

honey, milk, water, bread, flowers, are always good in a pinch... depending on the history of your deity, there may be other things that would be appropriate. Just about anything to show gratitude, maybe song, poetry, artwork or some kind of sculpture or fairy house, incense. Actually... follow your heart ::coolglasses::
