Everything Under the Moon

My Angel

Her beauty’s above a sunset.
Her mind is witty, and sharp.
She cries just to love again,
with tears that break my heart.

I wonder what would happen,
if she knew I loved her so.
If I could only kiss her lips,
then she would surely know.

My heart bleeds just to see her,
or to hear her awaiting voice.
I ache to wipe her tears away.
Within her wings I would rejoice

For I know that I’d find heaven,
if embraced by her angelic guise.
I would mend her broken heart.
If it were I, that could heal her cries.

*claps* Beautiful. I wish I could write a decent love poem like that....

Such beauty in your words. I assume you are male from this piece, which (don't get offended) is surprising to me.
I knew only one other man in my life that could write poetry. You are very lucky to have such talent, as is anyone who can write.

Wolf Heart

This is beautiful, I love the way it connects back at the end. Was this just a random poem or one which was inspired by a situation?

I definitely give props to you, as I scrawl a few heartsongs myself, none of which make sense, but I felt emotion there. Good job, keep writing.

I may be taking this wrong, but here is what I think.
It feels to me that this is not a love poem for someone that you have in your life anymore.
It seems as if she is gone and with another.
Maybe the two of you still love one another
Also, it feels as if you messed up in your relationship and now you realize what you had and you miss it ... her

Yes I did get that feeling and that is exactly my own plight. It was really a wonderful poem.
