Hello, I am only just started my path to find my way with Wicca
I love nature, and I can feel the nature's love and power. I feel the vibration in plants, earth in the air, in the wind. It may sound silly, but I feel a real connection. I would love to do magick with only love in my heart, helping others if they wish and for myself. I have jumbled premonitions in my dreams. I feel it is time for me to spirituell grow. But there is a problem. I am also a believer in God. I've had a Christian upbringing, but I don't pray to Jesus just to God. The one powerful spirit being the one and only God. The idea of more than one god just doesn't feel right to me. Can I combine Wicca with my religion? I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. I just need some advice to find my way.

Many people combine different beliefs and ideals, whatever works for you and makes you happy on your path in life is all that should matter.

Well, Wicca is itself a religion with it's own beliefs and practices, and anytime you combine two religions you can face difficulties in making it work, but it is not impossible.

That said, many Wiccans are soft polytheists (sometimes called inclusive monotheists), that is, they believe all deities are aspects of one single Deity. Some Wiccans and witches are also pantheists, panenthists, and so on... might want to dig around a little bit into the different ideas, see what different types of monotheists are out there.

I had a strict Roman Catholic upbringing, and it was really difficult for me to...I guess you could say accept? that there might be more than one God and I'm still having a hard time with it. It takes some time to get used to the idea. After some research, I just concluded that when Christianity came about, they kept God, but just dropped the Goddess. Think of it this way, if there are males and females on Earth, and we're made in God's image, then there should be a Goddess as well, to complete the balance. I hope this helps you out a bit!
