Contacted by a Goddess or just Wishful thinking?

I've been open to the idea of having a patron Goddess but for this past 4 to 5 years, I had not seen any signs of one being interested or just I'm plainly blind at seeing the signs for myself. Like in Tarot can read others' well but can not read myself. Though I have not actively search for a God or Goddess I figure one will show up within it's own time.

Though I live in a desert city and a few days ago a fog or mist was actually well there. Which rarely ever happens. I was like woohoo, even with fibromyalgia that didn't affect all too much those days. Anyways I found it rather fascinating but forgot about it as in the afternoon the sun came out and it was gone. I pushed it out of my mind. Then last night I had a dream about people talking about Morgan La Fay and I was like arguing about a friend who wanted to write about her. He likes to write Pre-Teen litature and young adult. The idea of him using her or her likeness in one of his stories well upset me. She's a goddess and is to be respected not to be dumb and child up. I woke up and thought what? The thing is I understand that Morgan is not really consider a lady of mist nor lake. It is Vivian. So my mind is confused, did I got visited by Morgan or Vivian? If Morgan why would she come visit as a mist form? There is also to mention that I know about Morgan and Vivian but not enough to get this in my dreams?

A part of me thinks it's just my subconscious, I know about the Arthurian legend, which I do find interesting but confusing. But not enough to know immediately know symbols or ideals. Plus when I research about them online, I find that people often associate Mogan with Morrigan which people say are different yet some other consider the same or part of her? With Vivian she has so many names and scattered info. I'm even more confused than ever! I'm like OMG if a Goddess did come to visit me and I'm like so clueless or skeptical I might insult her by not just jumping with joy. Another part of me is like well why me? I'm a girl who lives in a desert, what aspects of her do we have in common? Now I'm completely fascinated but utterly confused. Could they both visit me or is it just one? OR my brain just brought her up because of the last misty days that appeared in my town.

Honestly the thought of Morgan never crossed my mind because half the witches who consider her their patron Goddess I never saw eye to eye with. I always used to rant that only Goth girls have Morgan as their patron goddess because they all happened to be well Goth. Now I'm like what?!

My brain I'm confused.

Have you tried communicating with Her? Sometimes when things like you've described occurred, the Deities invite us to dialogue with Them.

Fog in the desert is uncommon. I would take it as a sign. Try reaching out to whoever you think it might be, but to placate yourself, do some research into possible alternatives. Some of the Norse and Welsh deities might be possibilities.
