Hello all. New here

And by new here I mean this forum and to paganism.
I'm 35, mother of 3 kids, a registered nurse in Nevada. I grew up in a "liberal" Christian household (not politically liberal just more open minded than some) but try as I might I couldn't accept the teachings of Christianity as my beliefs. Just didn't feel right. The idea of one size fits all, you must believe it this way to be "saved" all that just rubbed my feathers the wrong way.
Only by accident did I start looking at Wicca and different types of paganism. I didn't actually think people actually "did" that. Sounds silly I know. But the more I started reading the more it seemed like the light had just turned on. Finally I didn't feel awkward or crazy but I felt "yeah- this is what I've been trying to say all along!" Felt good.
That being said I am still very new here. I'm hoping to connect with others and share the experience of finding our paths since I'm very alone at home. I have a friend who would call herself spiritual but not a witch, and she's been a great help but I don't want to be bugging her all the time "what does this mean?" Lol. She would say "I'm glad you finally found your path."
