Hi!

My name is Jessica And I'm 30.

I'm a stay at home mom of three kids (12, 8 and 3).

A bit of my background: through my teenage years I had a strong need for spirituality. I read everything and anything on religion, also attending various churches.... And just never felt like I was in the right place... And then I found Wicca. My parents were very against it (going as far as burning all of my stuff because they felt it was the devils work and I was worshipping Satan). They refused to hear me out. I had my son very young and was never given acceptance so I learned to just put focus on everything else and leave my spirituality behind. Fast forward to the most recent and one day I woke up and just had this strong sense that I was being called back home and needed to throw myself back into Wicca. I didn't say anything to my husband st first. We knew each other through high school so he knew of my past... And him being Catholic I wasn't sure how he would react (I didn't think badly because he's never pushed me to pursue Catholicism).

I pulled out what little stuff I had managed to save through the years... Re purchased a few books and threw myself in full force. I felt at home. It was were I needed to be, was supposed to be and in lifetimes before this have been. i feel like purpose has been brought back into my life. My herb garden has been replanted and my alter is going back together. I read whatever I can every evening and feel at peace with where my spiritual journey is going. My husband is backing me up 100% and supports me through all of this. He didn't even make a peep when my permanent alter started going back up .

Anyways! What mainly brough me here is I know no one with similar a similar belief system. I've tried finding people locally but it's hasn't happened yet and not sure it even will. So I wanted to find some place with others that I can talk to and share experiences with that do have a similar belief system

Hello hello my favorite part about everything is your husbands support. I know my family could never know about my witchiness (they already had a horrible time getting over the fact that I'm gay) so I'm so happy to hear you have the best support system ever. Your husband! What freedom I'm new to honestly everything witchy and this forum has helped me a lot. Welcome to the community!!!

That's awesome your husband is so supportive! My family would have the exact same reaction if they knew I was even looking at something else. I love my mother but bless her heart lol. I came to this group for similar reasons and it's so nice to have.

My husband really is wonderful with all of this and even though he would never convert (and I'd never ask him) he himself says "you can't deny that the old gods aren't there (and goddesses). He's been under a lot of stress so he's actually going to meditate with me tonight. I'm very excited about it
