Hi I'm Eris. I have been practicing off and on for almost 15 years. By off and on I mean actively practicing. I still always held my faith in general.

I think the biggest gap I ever had in active practice was from 2009 until a few months ago. My step father died and not matter how much I prayed for him to get better prior to his death, or begged for the Goddesses to let him live, he still died. It hit me really hard. He took the place of my real father so I ended up walking away because I was devastated by his loss. I felt powerless, more so than betrayed by any of the Goddesses. They can only do so much but I should have been able to do more.

I'm back though and hopefully I can find community here with you all.

My condolences. Sometimes release from a body that no longer serves is the only possible healing. It still isn't easy on the ones left behind.
