Should I turn her in?

I have a friend who is a third generation practicing witch. She has recently started doing dark things and it is bothering me. Like the time in March when she worked an invisibility spell and went into a Circle K and took some things. I was waiting for her in the car and she was invisible but you could still see a bag of chips and a milky way moving through the air. The clerk didn't notice because he had other customers to deal with. Then recently my friend was able to perfect a transformation charm, which allowed her to change into a bird. She flew into an open window on the second floor of my neighbor's house, with the intent of stealing. But the neighbor's dog was there and chased my friend back out of the window.

My question is, should I turn her in to her mom? I won't call the police because I know they wouldn't believe the way in which I witnessed her stealing/breaking and entering. But maybe her mom can intervene. But then what if her mom is also into the same dark magic? In which case I might get reprimanded from her mom or worse.

The thing that always bothered me about 'invisibility' is that surely it'd just make your body invisible.. Not the clothes you're wearing.. So you'd have to walk around naked to be truly 'invisible'

Sorry, just being immature :).

As for your problem, I'm not sure what to suggest. I can't say I'm entirely convinced, either, to be honest. Invisible stealing.. Transforming into birds using magical charms.. 'Dark magick'..

All sounds a little too Buffy and Charmed to me.

I'm with Elem on this. Sounds too fictional, and nothing at all to do with witchcraft, which is where my decade and change of experience is at.

But some practical advice, you're going to be judged in life by the people you hang out with. If you're hanging out with a criminal, then you're going to be seen as a criminal. The best thing you can do is shut her out of your life. Explain that you're not going to associate with people who do the wrong thing, and then move on with your life....without her in it.

I completely agree. I mean I beleive in invisibility spells, but they simply make you go un-noticed... they dont turn you invisible... you think the clerk would notice a candy bar floating through the air all on it's own... lol.

Oh brother. Flying things- levitating candy bars.... not to be too rude, but come on now!

If you see a friend doing something literal that you don't agree with, try talking with her. If she just won't listen, I agree with juliaki- move on and upward, there's no reason to associate yourself with someone who doesn't want your advice or friendship and who is damaging you whether you realize it or not.

-She'll grow up eventually and will realize that she was making the wrong decisions.

Best of luck.
