Merry Meet, Let's be Friends.

Merry meet, my name is Riffael. I'm currently 18 years old, going to college in Michigan's upper peninsula.
I do not know any other pagans or witches. I have been practicing actively for about three years now. My journey has already been long, and I have struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my life. I would definitely like to make some friends on this forum. I would join a coven or group given the chance, but I don't think I'll be finding any more pagans in this area, so it's not possible.
I believe my path is leading me to a more fulfilling future. I have been celebrating the Sabbats with for years, and soon I will start preforming ritual on the full and new moons. I am currently working the most on learning how to write my own rituals. A great resource that has helped me so much recently is Youtube user fleurdelacour5787, AKA Aislynn Brigid. Even though she hasn't uploaded in a long time, her videos ranging from 2010 until 2014 are on a wide range of topics and really helped get a lot of things in perspective for a solitary like myself.
My "patron" god (that is, the god I work with most frequently) is Anubis. I have also recently been working with the goddess Isis, and the duality of Sekhmet and Hathor.

You sound like you are sad in a sense, I have been here a short time myself and the community and people here are Super friendly caring and helpful! I am very sure if you make more posts and ask more questions and such you will become happier and not having others around you will be less worrisome on you.

Making your own rituals sounds fun, I made my very 1st spell a week and a bit ago and it worked fabulously as intended and was super simple

I too suffer from Anxiety but mine is diagnosed as Extreme and I have Minor depression, I have even experienced suicide at one point in my life.... and I overcame it and became stronger over time. I find that taking walks helps to clear the mind, meditation helps to clear the mind, Earl Grey Tea helps relax me too, and trips to the spa.


If you ever want to talk I am a great listener and chances are I have experienced what you may be feeling so I will probably be able to give you advice that actually helps

beliefs and was rather taken with Horace. The other side of my esoteric upbringing is much more Eurocentric. I always like to learn more about other beliefs. I think you will be happy you came upon this forum.

Merry Meet and Blessed Be, Planewalker,

Horus is great and very powerful. Each time I see a Hawk I think of the sky god and pray to Him.
I know little of Native American spirituality, but I am always eager to learn just like you. I think that in the end, all Godly energy is driven by the same force, and all pantheons represent it in all its forms.
I hope that we may each learn much on this forum!

Welcome. I have found myself drawn to Anubis in the past few months, and now I find Horus making himself known as well. Bast and Sekhmet have been my companions for many years. Loki is still my patron, but we all seem to get along.
