Hmm. Opening locked doors and erasing memory...what stealthy projects are afoot? ^^
Same explanation as for the locked door. You can read of witches in The Devil's Plantation by Nigel Pearson, Troy Books Publications, pg 86 "The blocking of memory also seems to to be a common feature of witchcraft in the area (Cambridgeshire, my note) as some witches seem to have been unwilling that anyone who saw them should be able to recall the fact for a given period of tme ..." and the author recounts some recorded stories gathered by folk historians. The only clue mentioned as to how, (assuming you are interested) was that the witch had given the person a "queer look" which I imagine was a rather piercing stare. Doesn't that sound like telepathy to you?
The point being that skilled witches train their minds. They learn to focus their will to manifest an intention. Check out any Witchcraft 101 book. The process is the same. It doesn't matter to the "magical force" what the intention is. What matters is the witch's self control and their complete conviction that no harm will come from the act.

Not planning on doing anything to be honest, just wondering if it was possible. Thank you for your answer though

Trauma tends to be a good memory remover

I don't know if it's good or bad, but I remember most all of it, good and bad.

Trauma tends to be a good memory remover

Trauma causing the repression of memories pushes them into the subconscious; you don't really forget them -
while you may not be conscious of them they will still resurface and have effect on the conscious (usually in fairly unpleasent and unpredictable ways) until they are exposed and / or assimilated.

I never heard of this, except on TV shows and books ^^ I don't think there is such a thing. Or maybe someone removed my memories about it. Who knows!

The memory will always exist, but there are also certain forms of association exercises that will disallow access until reversed, but they aren't magic...

I realize the memory may be in there but it's the retrieval that can seem impossible. And then I guess there is disassociation...
In the case of Alzheimer's the body's autonomic system breaks down as well as memory and there is no retrieving it.
The brain is a pretty amazing place

(Personal thoughts) Retrieval is possible provided you start listening to the language and prompts of the unconscious. Many techniques exist. It is integral to shadow-work.
Dissassociation however is a bit like creating partitions ... putting things aside to better function. Everybody dissociates to a degree at times (on the other extreme it can create dissociative identities) - it can be accessed through altered states but can be harder to re-intergrate because it is an automatic response for many - like an unconscious habit.
Dissociation for example can allow you to continue to function effectively through traumatic circumstances yet the trauma still "exists" to be processed at some time or on some level.
Ultimately trauma, ptsd and dissociation is often the result of your minds attempt to protect itself/yourself - recovery and reintegration means facing that thing - re-experiencing trauma, so its never going to be easy, its even not always the wisest thing to do because you risk creating more problems then you solve.

How could one reduce PTSD symptoms without the use of Big Pharma "band-aids?" A certain spell or ritual?
There are some memories I would gladly repress and lock away!
