Merry meet from PhoenixRising!

My venture into Wicca and witchcraft is still in it's infancy. I would consider myself more eclectic or solitary. I'm pretty non-conforming to one established path. In other word, I don't take the heavily traveled highway in my path, I blaze my own trail.
I love nature. I do not like the concrete jungles of the city. Give me a forest, a prairie, or a lake or ocean, and I am happy. I also love to garden and work in the kitchen.
In my family, my mom is somewhat psychic/clairvoyant. I have some clairvoyance myself. My mom and I are both into Tarot, and both her cards and my cards are from Salem, Mass. She picked hers up while on vacation, while I was drawn to getting mine from Salem...the cards at Barnes & Noble just don't have the same spirit, if you know what I mean. :wink2: Oddly, I keep my cards near or under my pillow when not in use. I figure that keeping them so close while I sleep will help keep my energy in them, especially from the subconscious.
I've also learned in the last couple of years that my paternal grandmother (from Massachusetts) may have been a practicing witch. We were very close when I was little, so this may have helped draw me to my path as well.
My moods seem to follow the seasons. After Yule, my moods increasing get better, however, the depression begins to increase right around Mabon. Living in Texas, I get plenty of sun year round, so I'm still working on this little mystery. Some say it's just seasonal affective disorder or a vitamin D deficiency, but I tend to believe it's more in tune to the sabbats.
Now that I've found EUTM, I hope to learn more and continue on this peaceful path, where judgment is mostly non-existent.
