Paranormal Convention

This is a spirit dagger. It is used to banish evil spirits by sticking them with it. It is very old. I got this picture of it at the Paranormal conference in State College, PA this weekend during the Occult workshop.

And a mystery item. Know one knows what it was used for. Anyone here know?

it could be one of those urn things used to trap something, but by the looks the lid wasnt there. the dagger is very ornate.

That was my first impression of the urn too. The lady who taught the workshop came from a family of practicing wiccans.

just kidding...i belive that's some kind of container- for a blessed water perhaps? anyway- it's old- and I love it!

The urn could also be for storing ritual oils and ointments. Maybe even for potions...
