Dangerous drug - message boards

Are you finding that you are spending more and more time on message boards? Did it start with a few minutes a day, but now you're finding that you haven't washed your hair or even eaten for eight hours because you've been too busy typing?
Symptoms include:
1. Turning on your PC in the morning and when you next look up -it's dark
2. When you talk to people in 'the real world' you begin to imagine that you reply to them in a post.
3. You divide your friends into 'real life' friends and 'message board' friends.
4.You start to share your deepest darkest secrets with people you have never met.
5. Your back is developing a permanent crone-like hunch due to leaning over your PC. (Get yourself a gingerbread cottage and you're on your way!)
6. You tell your partner that you can't go out for that romantic dinner - you have really got to keep up with that 'Astral Projection' thread!
If you answered 'yes' to more than three, then you are indeed hooked on message boards. The only cure is to throw yourself down a well for three weeks with only a can of sardines and a copy of 'War and Peace'.
