Everything Under the Moon

I awake from a nightmare only to find it's real.
I lost the one person to keep me from thinking
that everything isn't real.
They left without thought or even a goodbye.
Why do they hate me, I can hear myself cry.
I've lost you again and know not what to do,
for everything I had imagined was just true.
Life isn't going right and I blame love!
Love is gone from me and now I am lost!
My mind is racing and my heart is stopping!
Oh, please help me from the misery!
My life is long and I can't go on like this
for my love is gone!

i find this to be very bland, it appears that this is merely a guise for what you are really feeling which is much stronger. or it is an attempt at pretty and meaningful words without anything real behind them.
