The Einherjars Calling

Odin, hear my call!
Come to me,
Father of All.
Hear my voice.
See my blade.
It is my choice,
that I have stayed.
I lust for battle,
the call for blood.
On foot and saddle,
you under hood.
The Fimbul Winter now is here.
The morn is calm, the air is clear.
Einherjar ready their weapons now.
We now we will lose, and we know how.
The men of Valhalla will follow Odin's lead.
To the battle he goes, The One-Eyed God and his steed.
Loki is set free and has joined the Jotuns,
and off to combat they now run.
Vigrid is where our two forces meet.
We fight with all we have, though we will be beat.
Odin runs on, brandishing Gungnir,
to fight the son of Loki, the wolf, Fenrir.
His battle is lost, he has been beaten.
Alas! Our Battle-Mad God has been eaten!
His son's anger rages like thunder.
He grabs the beasts jaws and rips them asunder.
Though all is now lost to the battles fire.
But now, alive still are the children of the sire.
Come to me,
Father of All.
Hear my voice.
See my blade.
