I read everyone's poems but don't comment, cos I think they are too personal and important. I 'm being brave and putting this here,be kind people,I don't claim to be poetic.



Song of Asherah


I am first among equals

a light in the darkest hour

the fallen idol reborn

with the hope of dawn

yet to be

I am a leap of faith

crashing the void

wind moving water

breaking on the shores

to keep the watch fire

while mortals rest,unaware

watching,waiting,knowing

I am Asherah of the sea

Beloved of the Elohim

pure light breaching forth

In me,through me,to me

past, present. yet to be

all in passing,flow through me.

i didnt mind it, though it lost me a little in the middle. i read it a few times to make sure

This was written about an Elohim [Grigori] and there is 'hidden' symbolism in it. Dragging up an old post,I know, but I am proud of this -I don't write much of this stuff down,let alone show it to others,so I'd hoped for some interest -just goes to show what I know.lol.

well it's a good thing you brought it back. i got more out of it this time.

the poetry section doesnt seem to get alot of action

I like it. It is powerful.

normally i don't like poems, but yours is powerfull.
